Costs

 

Embracing the Spirit of Bali while Developing Artistic Creativity and Skills

Approximate costs for participants:

Basic course registration/instructorsf fee US$ 280 (48 hours instruction)
SUNY graduate credit (3 credits) US$ 255
Accommodation at BCAC Sri Ratih Cottages max US$ 35 per night (245 for 7 nights)
Field trips and transportation in Bali plus entry to performances US$ 150
Total estimated costs (non SUNY credit) US$ 675 (excludes air fare and meals)
Total estimated costs with SUNY credit US$ 930 (excludes air fare and meals)

PLEASE NOTE:The USD $280.00 registration fee does not include ground transportation to field trip sites, meals, refreshments, painting supplies, museum and gallery entrance fees or extra tuition requiring visits to artists studios covering areas of special interest to individuals such as batik, or Balinese cooking classes. (All are very reasonable however)
American/International schools can provide the option of Buffalo State, SUNY graduate semester credit for professional development offered at your schools. The cost of the credit is $85.00 per graduate semester credit hour.

Individuals interested in receiving graduate credit will need to submit a completed registration form, payment for the credit, and an unofficial copy of a diploma or transcript verifying the receipt of their undergraduate degree. Host schools should collect these items and submit them by the deadline indicated on the registration form to:

Note: Some host schools, such as Jakarta International School, also offer internal credit for attendance of these courses in terms of their individual pay scales. Please see your schoolfs Professional Development officer about this matter.
